[HQ] THE 105TH ANNIVERSARY OFESTABLISHMENT OF THE KOREANPROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT

On the afternoon of April 6, 2024 Hwarang members came together to celebrate the 105th anniversary of Establishment of the Korean Provisional Government. This year we had a special MC from Hwarang Youth Foundation Donggeon Kim, the Summit Secretary of 2023-2024 year. As an opening performance we had our OC Nanta team’s performance. Then we had a Taegeukgi Entrance. The LA Hung Sa Dan and representatives from Hwarang Youth Foundation held flags and presented a remarkable start to the commemorative ceremony. After reciting the constitution of the provisional government, and watching breathtaking performances from the Korean American Music Academy and the Dosan musical we got to a closing with a group photo all together. A member from the Palos Verdes chapter explained the great celebration as, “It was a great opportunity to meet such wonderful people that are interested in not only American history but also Korean history. The special performances from Hwarang, KAMA and the LA Hung Sa Dan lead the celebration into a more interesting event. I enjoyed the part where the actors from the musical came and showed a spectacle performance. As a member of Hwarang, I Hwarang did a good job but the other teams was really good as well.”
