Hwarang Foundation Delivers $3,200 in Aid to Youth Affected by Turkey-Syria Earthquake

In an effort to assist youth affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, Han Hojin, who raised $3,200 in donations through the Hwarang Foundation, has delivered the funds to the Joseph Elias Turkey Earthquake Relief Team.

The fundraising campaign, conducted from January to March, gathered a total of KRW4,470,000, with contributions from regions such as Wic (KRW 2,690,000), Sena (KRW 1,150,000), and Jeju (KRW 630,000).

Amidst the aftermath of a magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck the southeastern part of Turkey and the northwestern part of Syria, affecting approximately 180,000 individuals, the funds are intended to provide support to the households of local youth.

The Hwarang Foundation expressed its hope, stating, "We hope this aid serves as a small comfort for the youth in the affected areas to overcome sorrow and regain hope." The foundation continues to anticipate that even in the face of ongoing hardships and the loss of homes, these funds will bring a ray of hope to those affected.
