About This Chapter

The Palos Verdes chapter serves the Palos Verdes and Torrance areas. Their goal is to make the community a better place and create memories and moments that are meaningful to both the environment and the community. Monthly activities include recycling, thank-you cards for firefighters, and chapter meetings where members discuss new ideas. The chapter is also planning blanket donations for fostered animals at a local animal center, with this year's main goal being to raise as much funding as possible to support eye surgeries in Guatemala. Members stay closely connected even outside of Hwarang, making it an enjoyable place to be — not just somewhere to log volunteer hours.
