2026-2027 Officers

Alexis Lee
National ChairpersonHello! My name is Alexis Lee, and I am honored to serve as the National Chairperson of the United States for the Hwarang Youth Foundation.
My journey with Hwarang has been one of growth, connection, and purpose, allowing me to develop as a leader while building meaningful relationships with members across the country.
Through Hwarang, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of service, cultural heritage, and youth leadership. From participating in community service projects to engaging in discussions about identity and leadership, Hwarang has shown me the impact that young people can create when they come together with a shared vision.
As National Chairperson, my goal is to strengthen the bonds within our Hwarang community, encourage members to embrace their leadership potential, and create opportunities for everyone to make a positive difference. I hope to continue honoring the values of Hwarang by promoting service, unity, and responsibility while inspiring the next generation of leaders to carry these values forward.

Janis Kim
Summit SecretaryHello! My name is Janis Kim and I am a junior at Oxford Academy. It is truly an honor to serve as the Summit Secretary for the 2026-2027 term.
I am dedicated to overseeing all the secretaries from both the LA and OC districts and ensuring that our chapters remain organized, connected, and feel supported throughout the entirety of the term.
I firmly believe in the impact we, as youth leaders, can have, and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for us. I look forward to strengthening the bonds within the Hwarang Youth Foundation, as well as putting our strengths together to create meaningful change in our communities.

Brian Chung
Summit Public RelationHi, I'm Brian Chung. I am an upcoming sophomore, and also eager to announce that I am the Summit PR for this term.
It is my duty to update the HQ media platforms for Hwarang and check the chapter's accounts. Capturing and organizing high-quality photos for all summit events and collecting media from the chapter officers.
One of my main goals for this term is to make sure I work as hard as I possibly can, making sure not to do things last minute. I believe being well prepared is better than doing things last minute. I hope this term will be one of Hwarang's best years, as I trust all the officers who were assigned their roles. I am glad to serve you for 2026-2027!
