[Hwarang HQ] the 70th Anniversary of the Korean American Alliance

On June 20, 2023, the Hwarang Youth Foundation, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles and the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles, hosted a meaningful Cultural Event to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean American alliance.

Held at 10:00 AM, the event celebrated the enduring unity and shared history between South Korea and the United States. Attendees experienced a rich display of Korean heritage through traditional performances, a coming-of-age ceremony (성년식), and a Korean tea ceremony. These cultural expressions were designed to foster mutual understanding and strengthen the ties between the Korean American community and the broader public.
